The Constitutional Republic known as these United States of America was founded on Christian principles with the Creator, God at the center. “In God We Trust” is inscribed on our coins, providing a constant reminder of whose hand provides all the bountiful blessings that we enjoy in the “home of the free and the brave.” You are welcome to disagree with this, but these are just facts. Our founding fathers knew that no person or government could take away our God-given liberties so God was at the center of the Constitutional Republic when formed.
But what exactly is the make-up of America’s DNA right now? That was 1776, this is 2023.
The majority of youth today do not even know what the Pledge of Allegiance is. High school and college students lives have been taken over by technology and social media so much so that even parents don’t know what they think. Young adults are often oblivious to all things historical, just watch the street interviews by Jesse Watters team on Fox. Middle aged Americans are flat tired of it all, not even sure what we are fighting for any longer. And older Americans are quite troubled and sad when they see the current state of affairs and troubling future that lies ahead for future generations.
To say that our nation is “weak,” lacking conviction, apathetically patriotic at best, and straight out exhausted would be an understatement. Covid-19 and all that has transpired since has basically been an ongoing punch to America’s mid-section. How many blows can the American people take? America is on the ropes, so to speak. We are approaching the precipice. The very fabric of our nation resembles that of a strained cover of Saran wrap barely holding cover on Grandma’s favorite dish. Our moral fibers are no longer tightly sewn together strands of God and Christian values. Woke ideology, CRT propaganda, race separation, and censorship of free speech have weakened us to the point of no return.
May I humbly suggest to you that America’s DNA is about to be tested like never before. May I also gently remind everyone where we need to look for renewal and strength.
The DNA of the Fruited Plain, and what we refer to as the Maha Collective of citizen journalists that makes up TFP, is quite simple. As patriotic Americans, we know these words to ring true during good times and bad. This is who we are – America The Beautiful.
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

As America’s very existence is ultimately put to the test, I pray that God’s grace would crown our future good and brotherhood. We are one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. God bless America!
