ES&S To Withdraw On-Site Support From Minnehaha County On Election Day?
This Is No Laughing Matter.
With news breaking on 10/31/24 that a criminal investigation has been launched by Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton relating to ES&S, Dominion Voting Systems, Hart InterCivic, and SolarWinds, it seemed appropriate for our team to focus our attention back on ES&S with election day fast approaching.
Here is the exact quote from the National Pulse article that was published on 10/31/24.
The Texas Attorney General has 'opened a criminal investigation related to Dominion Voting Systems, Election Systems & Software (ES&S), Hart InterCivic, and SolarWinds, including specific subcontractors, agents, and employees.’
It is also being reported that Minnehaha County has its own tussle going on with ES&S, but this county is not located in Texas. It is located in the fine state of South Dakota, the proud home of Mount Rushmore. While Pennington County is the actual home to Mount Rushmore in western South Dakota, Minnehaha County is located on the east side and represents the largest county in the state of South Dakota in terms of population.
The Minnehaha County website reads as follows:
Minnehaha County, created in 1862, is a political subdivision of the State of South Dakota encompassing 810 square miles. Minnehaha County is the largest county in the state in terms of population.
Ms. Leah Anderson serves as the County Auditor for Minnehaha County.
While serving “We The People” of South Dakota in this role, she has several election responsibilities.
Election duties include voter registration, adjusting precinct boundaries as needed, securing polling places, ballot preparation, programming Express Votes and ballot scanners, appointing and training election officials, counting ballots and reporting election results, and issuing certificates of election.
In short, she has to interface with ES&S and deal with the electronic voting machines. She also plays a key role in certifying the election results for Minnehaha County. As a county auditor, she has to carry out the incredibly daunting task of auditing election results and certifying these results as being 100% accurate.
So why in the world would Election Systems & Software (ES&S) notify her office less than two weeks prior to the 2024 election that all of the on-site support for the electronic voting machines in Minnehaha County was being withdrawn by ES&S on election day 11/5/24? Despite Minnehaha County paying a substantial amount of $$$ for these contracted services, it is being reported that ES&S has simply decided to withdraw its on-site support services from this one county on just election day.
The South Dakota Canvassing group Substack put out this statement on 10/23/24.
This course of action taken by ES&S is likely unprecedented or a “first time ever” event. Our team has never heard of this happening anywhere else in the country. Should a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request be filed on this topic so that the actual communication from ES&S to Minnehaha County is made public, we will update this article later and share that detail here.

[Update made 12/5/24 after receiving response to public records request]
When contracted services are bought and paid for, and then not received, a dispute or lawsuit typically follows shortly thereafter. We are wondering if Minnehaha County will have legal grounds for reimbursement of fees paid for services not rendered.
And finally, what’s going on here?
Is Ms. Anderson being “punished” for scrutinizing election voting machines and for shining the light on the fraud, that is, cast vote records or CVRs? In our modern day culture, any person who questions the status quo is typically cancelled shortly thereafter. This is exactly how cancel culture works.
This article from 14 months earlier is a good read to get a feel for the tremendous pressure that Ms. Anderson has been under as she exposes ES&S at the county level.
Requests for hand counting ballots in Minnehaha County (9/26/23)
This is no laughing matter as we are convinced that Ms. Leah Anderson is right over the target now and has been for quite some time. To refresh, she did participate in a face to face meeting with several ES&S representatives in Omaha on 6/16/23. Just like Robert J. Borer, the author of the “We The People” Substack and our “Maha Collective” team of citizen journalists at The Fruited Plain and many, many other sources, Ms. Anderson has been shining a bright light on ES&S electronic voting machines. And as a direct result of her scrutiny of the electronic voting machines (EVMs), other South Dakota [s}elected officials have been crying out for her to resign.
Minnehaha County commissioner calls for auditor's resignation amid ballot controversy (9/10/24)
But, let’s think logically for a minute. What will the outcome of all of this be in Minnehaha County, South Dakota? Will Minnehaha County election officials be “forced” to hand count the ballots if there is no on-site electronic voting machine support being offered from ES&S? Or was Ms. Anderson already planning to hand count the ballots in Minnehaha County to compare the final results with the machine counts so ES&S decided it was best to go “hands off” and abandon ship, so to speak? Is ES&S running scared from Minnehaha County by abandoning its post on 11/5/24? Time will tell. All we do know is that this is no laughing matter.
And just to refresh, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was actively questioning a host of things before his impeachment proceedings occurred in Texas, including election fraud in the 2020 election. The attempt to formally “cancel” AG Paxton took on the form of impeachment efforts in May of 2023.
It is also timely to note a small, yet important detail, that the effort to impeach Ken Paxton in Texas was referred to as election interference by Donald J. Trump.
Through all of this, ES&S has nearly gone unmentioned by the US MSM.
Why is ES&S exempt from scrutiny at the national level?
The US MSM’s silence remains deafening on the eve of this historic 2024 election.
At the end of the day, all roads do lead back to Omaha where ES&S is headquartered.
Our team is wondering if there was something more symbolic than just “game day” fun when Old Glory was taken down at ES&S HQ on 11/2/24 and replaced with the Nebraska Cornhusker “game day” flag. This is, of course, probably nothing to see, but the timing did seem a little odd to us.
In closing, we wanted to simply share a few more links so our newest subscribers can begin to play catch up on this topic. We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Jessica Pollema, an actively watchful South Dakota citizen and fearless leader of the South Dakota Canvassing Group, for making mention of The Fruited Plain’s ongoing series on ES&S “All Roads Lead To Omaha” when she appeared on David Clements Live on 4/2/24.
Who will get the last laugh in Minnehaha County on 11/5? Let’s watch and see.
God bless each of you as we all enjoy the distinct privilege of witnessing history in the making on Tuesday, 11/5.
