In our most recent post on the US Debt Clock, we made mention that censorship has reached astounding new heights. The American people are slowly being cut off from all things factual. Or stating the same thing, but from a slightly different angle, Operation Mockingbird is showing signs of collapse so there is a real struggle in play.
Operation Mockingbird is an alleged large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early years of the Cold War and attempted to manipulate domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes.
The “American” media network has spanned the globe since 1921, forming a mammoth empire.
As “Operation Mockingbird,” or if you prefer, the “American media empire” is downsized, a new grassroots media will simply emerge organically in the US to fill the massive void. The saying that “we are the news now” is not some sort of arrogant pronouncement or empty slogan. This saying is already taking shape as grassroots media companies emerge from the dust and ashes.
More plainly stated, fake news is the primary enemy of “We The People.” Why? An uninformed citizenry is easily manipulated and controlled.
With all of this said, we wanted to shine some light on the sudden rise in legal cases involving freedom of speech in the United States. It is quite shocking, and we are only touching the surface here. After reading this post to the end, our subscribers and friends will understand that we are talking about intentional, tightly coordinated, global censorship initiatives. In the end, we are talking about acts of war and crimes against humanity.
Before we get to that, let’s review just a few legal cases that have surfaced in the last few months. We are just listing them here with minimal comment so you can be made aware of each and equipped to research more on your own. Each legal case is similar, but uniquely intriguing in its own way.
State of Missouri / State of Louisiana v. Biden And Many Others
In 1783, George Washington warned that if “the Freedom of Speech may be taken away,” then “dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the slaughter.”
The list of defendants in this case includes: Joseph R. Biden, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Dr. Anthony Fauci, National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Homeland Security, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA).
Missouri v. Biden Where the First Amendment and national security meet (9/11/23)
The 2016 Russian election interference, confusion over COVID messaging and the events of Jan. 6 put a spotlight on social media in the 2022 midterm elections. As a result, the Biden administration placed social media companies on a high level of alert. That level included communications between various branches of the federal government and prominent companies such as Facebook, now Meta, and Twitter, now X.
The Crossroads Between Misinformation and Free Speech (7/18/23)
Judge Doughty describes how the evidence produced in the case thus far “depicts an almost dystopian scenario,” in which the federal government “seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’” While some have celebrated the ruling as a victory for the First Amendment in what has been described as potentially “one of the most important free-speech cases in the nation’s history,” others have lamented the ruling’s restriction on the government’s “efforts to harden U.S. democracy against threats of misinformation” through its communications with social media companies.
X Corp v. Media Matters For America
Elon Musk’s X sues Media Matters over antisemitism analysis (11/20/23)
X's lawsuit alleges that Media Matters for America "manipulated" data in an attempt to "destroy" the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Firms including Apple, Disney, IBM and Comcast have paused adverts on X since the watchdog released its analysis.
After Mr. Musk threatened the lawsuit, Media Matters called him a bully.
The lawsuit, filed in Texas on Monday, argues: "Media Matters knowingly and maliciously manufactured side-by-side images depicting advertisers' posts on X Corp's social media platform beside Neo-Nazi and white-nationalist fringe content and then portrayed these manufactured images as if they were what typical X users experience on the platform.
"Media Matters designed both these images and its resulting media strategy to drive advertisers from the platform and destroy X Corp."
Trump Media & Technology Group v. 20+ News and Media Companies
The complaint alleges that these media organizations conducted a coordinated campaign to falsely report that Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. had lost $73 million. This figure is a complete fabrication and is not found in any public Securities and Exchange Commission filing by the company.
Rumble v. Check My Ads Co-Founders
Rumble Files Federal Defamation Lawsuit Against Co-Founders of Purported Watchdog Group (11/29/23)
Rumble, the video-sharing platform and cloud services provider (NASDAQ: RUM), filed a lawsuit today in federal court in Florida against two co-founders of a purported watchdog organization. Rumble sued Nandini Jammi and Claire Atkin, co-founders of Check My Ads, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation that routinely targets news outlets and platforms that do not adhere to their political worldview. Also named as defendants are John Does – numbers 1 through 10 – as yet-to-be-identified individuals who helped prepare and publish the defamatory information on their website.
Rumble is represented by the law firm of Clare Locke LLP, which is among the foremost defamation and First Amendment litigators in the United States.
The lawsuit closely follows one filed by X against Media Matters. Truth Social, another social media company, similarly has sued twenty media outlets.
The Daily Wire, The Federalist, and The State of Texas v. US State Department
Plaintiffs The Daily Wire, LLC (“The Daily Wire”), FDRLST Media, LLC (“The Federalist”), (jointly “Media Plaintiffs”), and the State of Texas bring this civil action to halt one of the most egregious government operations to censor the American press in the history of the nation against the above-named Defendants for declaratory and injunctive relief, and other appropriate relief, and allege as follows: 1. The U.S. Department of State (“State Department”), through its Global Engagement Center (“GEC”), is actively intervening in the news-media market to render disfavored press outlets unprofitable by funding the infrastructure, development, and marketing and promotion of censorship technology and private censorship enterprises to covertly suppress speech of a segment of the American press.
So can a media empire publish lies and create false narratives that lead to abhorrent and heinous crimes against humanity? And if so, would these actions then entail seditious conspiracy, racketeering (RICO), potentially treason, and a host of other crimes? And would these crimes be prosecuted under US criminal law or military law?
The “Censorship Industrial Complex” is quite the appropriate name, isn’t it? Again, this is not about Trump or Biden. This has NOTHING to do with politics. The “Censorship Industrial Complex” has gravely impacted the global population. And you do not have to look very far to see it operating in all of its glory right here and now.
Why must a US Navy medical officer be silenced for sharing facts?
Why are some websites blocked from reaching certain audiences while others are free to reach all audiences?
Our Substack colleague, Greg Reese, published a video on 12/1/23 that really helps a person clearly understand the GLOBAL censorship conspiracy that is unfolding in front of our very eyes. This video is really a must watch and put a nice final touch on this post.
Our team told you to BUCKLE UP last week after sharing the compelling discovery that is about to be introduced in the USA vs Trump case.
Emerald Robinson shared the same advice, BUCKLE UP, in this post raising awareness of yet another lawsuit.
